Tahini Sauce –Tarator
This sauce can accompany a variety of dishes; falafel, fish, rice, potatoes, grilled or fried vegetables…be creative!
¼ Cup tahini
¼ Cup lemon juice
1/8 Cup water
1-2 cloves garlic (optional)
1 tsp. sea salt
1/4 Cup parsley (optional)
Blend all ingredients in a blender or if not using garlic, whip in a bowl with a fork.
If too thick, slowly add more water or lemon juice; 1 teaspoon at a time. If too runny, add more tahini.
Can be stored in refrigerator for 5 days.
