Here is a link to an amazing website that I follow daily. There is a variety of ways to make this great tasting green smoothie, you can even add a whole food protein source, which is included.
If you need it sweet to get used to it, add raw honey to taste, about 1 tbs. to begin with, then decrease as you get used to it. The honey will add extra health benefits as well.
7 Days of Green Monster Smoothies
I am working on gathering a variety of smoothie recipes, look out for it.
You are so sweet to show-off these green smoothies Audry – thank you! I’m about to do my exercise and make one myself… running out of the fun fruit, so may experiment with a handful of cashews! Have a blessed day! ~Tiffany
Thank you for your origional post and your experaments, I’ll have to try the cashews, sounds interesting. I like how you add the probiotics. I use whey in mine; 1-2 Tbs. per cup.
I drink a green juice every afternoon. It’s a great boost and really healthy:)
That’s a great idea! I really never thought about afternoon smoothies, that IS a great idea for the green smoothie. I usually have my smoothies in the morning because I wake up early (6 am) and need the nutrients, then have a 2nd breakfast/lunch around 10.
