First and foremost, I am a wife and mother to 5 beautiful healthy children. As a young adult, I would have never thought to be in the position I am today, helping women take charge of their health and family’s health using a program called A Nutritional Makeover that I have developed over the years and in the process of turning it into a book.
I first became concerned with natural health while I watched my mother’s failing health, due to cancer. Although she had let it advance to near death before applying alternative medicine, she was able to outlive the short months the doctors expected by years before finally passing. Those years by her side taught me valuable lessons in life, first being that prevention is KEY.
The various researches my mother and I did along with the results that I witnessed through traditional/real foods and natural medicine encouraged me to begin my studies in alternative medicine and nutrition. I have studied various healing modalities but I found my passion in nutrition (especially Chinese dietary nutrition), fitness, herbs and women’s health; especially in the childbearing years since that is the foundation to life.
I have collected an extensive amount of resources and experience through years of studies and through learning experiences while organizing and educating women and mothers on feeding their families real food and proper preparation. I’ve had a successful nutritional consulting practice where the majority of clients were women who were trying to conceive, pregnant or already mothers.
My goal in life, with the knowledge I have gained, is to pass it on to as many people are willing to listen. Feel free to contact me through my blog with comments, questions or concerns.
To health and happiness!
