Lots of people are going gluten free these days, and with good reason. I have played with a few different recipes and here is one I really like. Even though it’s gluten free, it should be consumed in moderation because is is a bunch of starch that converts to sugars in the body and for some, doesn’t digest well just as in wheat. However, with that being said, it’s nice to know there are tasty options out there when it comes to the need to go gluten free.
Mix the following flours together, you can multiply the recipe as many times and you’d like, but make sure it is evenly mixed.
- 1 C rice flour
- 1 C tapioca flour
- 1 C arrow root starch
- 1 Tbs. potato starch
- 2 tsp. baking powder
Store in an airtight container with a wide mouth for scooping out. This mixture is very light and is dusty so you should be careful not to loose it when scooping out.
